Expand your degree with international studies. A minor or certificate in international business will open a new world of possibilities.
As the world expands, employers need business professionals with the ability to operate in multi-lingual and diverse cultural environments. The international minor or certificate will give you the communication skills and cultural knowledge needed to understand the global environment in which business operates.
UNIBusiness is pleased to offer two internationally focused programs to add to your business or non-business degree that will prepare you for global business and expand your opportunities for career growth.
International business is available in several forms at UNI, including a minor and a certification for all UNIBusiness and non-business students.
Certification in international business, culture and language is available to UNI College of Business students and to those completing a general business concepts minor. With classes like International Business and Cultural and Political Perspectives, as well as different language classes you can take, certification can be completed with 11-30 credit hours. International business is the perfect addition to any business major.

UNIBusiness has received numerous accolades due to the quality of education we provide in and outside of the classroom. Our program has logged more than 31,000 hours of client project work for hundreds of Iowa and international-based companies.
As a student in the College of Business Administration, you'll have the opportunity to participate in many short- and long-term study abroad and internship programs with little financial burden. Scholarships and Fly Free make it possible to show your adventurous side and prove you're ready for business on a global scale.
Professional certification can be a deciding factor in hiring decisions, and few schools prepare their students for the exams. UNIBusiness offers certification training for the CPA, CFA Level 1, global business, Six Sigma, project management and appraisal.
