Humanities
Humanities
This major is designed for students who seek a broader and more interdisciplinary education than a traditional major provides. Humanities majors often are interested in particular historical periods or movements – such as the ancient world, modern world, Romantic period or Renaissance. They may also be interested in particular themes, such as science and religion throughout the ages.
Students, with the help of their advisor, can design a major around a set of courses which will allow the student to study that period or theme, drawing from a range of courses from different majors, such as history, art history, literature, philosophy, religion, theater and music.
