Start your own business before graduation! Do you have an idea for a business? Do you want help getting started? A certificate in entrepreneurship for business and non-business majors can prepare you academically and provide the tools, space and expertise to get your idea off the ground. The many additional programs available at UNIBusiness can give you the office space, office help, funding, peer support and consulting advice you need to establish a business before you graduate.
UNIBusiness' many resources are here to help you get certified.
Certification in entrepreneurship is open to all majors available at UNI. With only 15 credit hours required for certification and classes like Entrepreneurial Fundamentals and Entrepreneurial Strategy, you can be certified in no time!
With programs like the John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center and the R.J. McElroy Student Business Incubator, a learning laboratory designed to educate and inspire those interested in entrepreneurship, the opportunities available at UNI are immense.
BEYOND THE CLASSROOM
UNIBusiness has received numerous accolades due to the quality of education we provide in and outside of the classroom. Our program has logged more than 31,000 hours of client project work for hundreds of Iowa and international-based companies.
As a student in the College of Business Administration, you'll have the opportunity to participate in many short- and long-term study abroad and internship programs with little financial burden. Scholarships and Fly Free make it possible to show your adventurous side and prove you're ready for business on a global scale.
Professional certification can be a deciding factor in hiring decisions, and few schools prepare their students for the exams. UNIBusiness offers certification training for the CPA, CFA Level 1, global business, Six Sigma, project management, and appraisal.
